Assistantship contract and Easter

I heard some very good news nearly a week ago now, namely that my contract has been extended a month, so I finish teaching at the end of May. It's exactly what I hoped for, and I got the news before the school holidays, praise God!

At the moment, I'm back home for just under two weeks for the Easter holidays and it's great to be here. Yesterday my Aunty Sheila and Uncle Pete came to see us in the evening. They live in Manchester and I don't get to see them very often, so I had been looking forward to it for a long time. It was great to spend time with them. We had a delicious roast lamb meal (Thanks Mum!), followed by a selection of small bites for pudding, made up of goodies I carried home from France and Katie's chocolate brownie (top notch!).
